HELP CENTER

Set up the closed test without guesswork.

These guides explain the TestTwelve workflow and the Google Play steps you still control yourself.

PLAY CONSOLE

How to add assigned testers

  1. Open your app in Google Play Console and go to the closed-testing track you intend to use.
  2. Create or select the tester list for that track.
  3. Copy the tester emails shown in your TestTwelve campaign roster and add them to the list.
  4. Save the track changes and make sure the test release is available to the list.
  5. Use the official opt-in link for that same track when you submit your TestTwelve campaign.
ImportantTestTwelve does not need your Play Console password. You add the tester list yourself inside Google Play Console.
TEST LINK

Where the opt-in link comes from

The link should be the official Google Play testing opt-in URL for the closed track your testers are allowed to join. TestTwelve requires an HTTPS link and stores it with the campaign so assigned testers can open the correct test.

Before you submitOpen the link in a browser where you are not signed in as the developer and confirm it points to the intended test. Do not submit a Play Console admin URL.
TROUBLESHOOTING

Tester sees “App not available”

Check the tester email, the selected closed track, release availability, country/device restrictions and the exact opt-in link. A tester must use the Google account that was added to the testing list.

MONITORING

What TestTwelve tracks during the 14 days

The dashboard records TestTwelve-side signals such as assignment status, tester join confirmation, daily check-ins and optional Tester App activity. These signals help surface continuity risk, but they are not Google Play Console verification.

CONTINUITY

What happens when a tester drops out

An inactive tester can be marked inactive and a replacement can be assigned when capacity is available. The replacement has their own continuity clock, so the campaign may need additional time before every eligible tester has completed the required period.

Still stuck?

Send the app name, package name and a short description of the problem. Do not send passwords, card details or Google account credentials.
